Red Snapper Season Opens 1 June

It’s finally here, we will be pulling red snapper over the gunwales on Friday.  We have been scouting spots all winter and are ready to put you on the fish fast.  This year the bag limit and minimum length stays the same as last year, 16″ and two fish per person.  Friday marks the opening of federal waters for federal for hire vessels, all other vessels will be able to begin fishing on 11 June.  The season for both state and federal will last through 21 July.  Book your trip as soon as you have solid accommodation reservations to avoid missing out on your red snapper trip.
