Charles Garrett is the son of the captain and was raised on the back of a fishing boat. Charles is currently studying at the University of Florida to become a mechanical engineer. He wishes he could still be helping out on the boat but has decided to chase a new dream. He still helps out with rigging and boat maintenance when he is in from college, but no longer works on the deck.
Sheryl and Charles have been married since 1994 and she has been the backbone of Blue Water Escape Charters. She takes care of much of the logistics of the business while Charles is offshore. She also will likely be the voice when you call to make your booking. She knows the business and has worked as a deckhand for many trips. She often out fishes Charles on scouting trips. Feel free to ask her about what to expect because she has first hand knowledge. If you book a trip with us, Sheryl will be a big part in making sure it goes smoothly as Captain Charles is not known for his organizational skills.
